I am committed to empowering my students to safely explore their yoga practice while being mindful and accepting of their bodies.

Katie completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in early 2018 with Root’s Yoga, where she was able to expand her love and appreciation for vinyasa yoga. Katie first began practicing yoga in 2009 after a friend encouraged her to give it a try to reduce stress. Her practice began at home until she felt ready to step into a studio. From her first moments on the mat, Katie felt the benefits of yoga in her life but it took several years for the practice to be regular and consistent. Knowing just how powerful and strong she feels mentally and physically from a regular meditation and yoga practice, Katie is determined to help others cultivate that same feeling on their mat which they can then take out into their everyday lives. She is committed to empowering her students to safely explore their yoga practice while being mindful and accepting of their bodies.
