I don’t know about you, but I often find it easy to find and give compassion to others. To forgive others who have hurt me, to understand someone’s hard times, to show them love despite their imperfections. But there is one person who it is hard to show that same love, understanding, and compassion; do you know who that is? Me. It’s me. And I bet, if you took a moment to tune inward, you’d notice the same about yourself – at least sometimes. Today’s short self-compassion meditation is to help. It’s the reminder that YOU deserve love, compassion, and understanding just as much as the next person, and YOU can give that to YOU.
