Today is our meditation to calm the mind. Last week, I spent some time in nature, allowing my nervous system to calm down, find some peace, and find space for creativity to come through. It’s always so lovely when I take this kind of time for myself and it’s something that I’m really committed to doing more of in my life on a more regular and consistent basis.

There’s a lot happening in my world, life, and business (as I’m sure is something we all are feeling in different capacities) but I’m learning to find a new routine as I add in studying for my yoga therapy certification. This means the moments that my mind actually feels calm have been few and far between, so these kinds of little getaways are extra lovely. And of course, when that’s not available, let’s turn to this calm-the-mind meditation.
