It was a typical Wednesday morning. The alarm went off, I hit snooze (probably a few times), and then sat up to complete my meditation right from bed. As I walked from my bedroom into the bathroom, I slammed my foot into the doorframe. I screamed; I threw myself to the floor; I focused on my breath to ensure I didn’t get sick. I did my best to shower and get ready for the day. I went to take my dog for our morning walk and I couldn’t put a shoe on my foot. I knew something was wrong. As it would turn out, I broke my toe. It’s time to bring on the healing (with meditation).
While my broken toe was the catalyst for this meditation for healing, it’s not just for healing from physical injuries. There are times when we need healing on mental, physical, spiritual, or emotional levels. Let this meditation be your support in those seasons too.
