Hi, I am Katie Arnold. I am a Marketing Creative based in the Chicago suburbs.

Current Position

I currently work as Marketing Director and Transaction Manager for May Group Realtors with RE/MAX of Grand Rapids. My role is multi-layered to include all components of our marketing strategy, creation, and execution and project management for all Real Estate transactions. 

This role has allowed me to get my hands in all aspects of the business and our marketing from social media, content writing, SEO strategy, podcast launching, YouTube optimization, print marketing, and paid advertising. 

Here are some cool projects:

  • Holiday Cards – The team holiday card is our most anticipated marketing push of the year with clients, colleagues, and our community. I own this project from idea to execution, including print and social media campaign.
  • Relocation Guide – I compiled and designed this PDF tool to send to potential clients looking to relocate to the Grand Rapids, Michigan area. 
  • May Group Realtors Website – We launched a brand new website in 2022. I led this project to ensure the best optimization of content, layout, navigation, and branding. 

Additional Experiences

After graduating from Berklee College of Music, I discovered my entrepreneurial spirit and started managing and promoting bands, including being the original manager for The Lumineers. Through various positions within the music industry, I worked with artists and their teams on marketing efforts to connect with their fans. 

I entered the content marketing space in 2011 when I began blogging on my own wellness and lifestyle blog, Talk Less, Say More. This opened up more opportunities for me to start freelance writing for other wellness, lifestyle, and entertainment websites and take on a Social Media and Content Marketing position with Great Life Publishing.

Shortly after completing my 200-hour yoga teaching certificate, I launched a YouTube channel and in 2022 started The Soul Connection Podcast. 

All of these experiences have allowed me to learn and optimize SEO, digital marketing strategy, video and podcast production, email marketing, content creation and design, and website management.
