Are you in need of some self-love? Before we even get to this Self-Love yoga practice, we need to talk about what is self-love.

Self-love is a state of appreciation for oneself that grows from actions that support our physical, psychological and spiritual growth. Self-love means having a high regard for your own well-being and happiness. Self-love means taking care of your own needs and not sacrificing your well-being to please others. Self-love means not settling for less than you deserve.

For today’s self-love yoga practice, we are going to cultivate that sense of well-being and caring for our own needs. This 20-minute practice is a blend of mantra, mudra, and an asana yoga flow. Prepare to tap into yourself and cultivate a feeling of self-love.

The mudra that we’ll be using for our practice today is the Anahata Mudra, a gesture of love to ourselves. To learn more about the Anahata Mudra and other mudras for love and clarity, check out this post.
