This is your short daily yoga flow class. This class is designed to help balance the vata dosha.

The doshas (vata, pitta, and kapha) are essentially energies within our body according to Ayurvedic science. These energies can become imbalanced and manifest in a variety of ways for each type.

When the vata dosha is imbalanced this can look like*:

  • Skin issues
  • Feeling cold
  • Fear
  • Confusion
  • Anxiety
  • Panic

On the contrary, when the vata dosha is balanced, it can look like*:

  • Feeling grounded
  • Clarity
  • Joints feel good
  • Creativity flows
  • We can adapt easier

Our Vata is infectious! If you’ve ever felt like you’re picking up on other people’s anxieties and worries, it’s important to remember that we can take each other out of balance. But the plus side of this is that we can also help someone else balance their vata by balancing their own.

This daily yoga flow practice is a great way to balance our own energies before going about our days and interacting with others. Try this practice every day for a week or two, and start to notice the effects.

*This is not an exhaustive list so learn even more about the vata dosha, check out this resource for more information.
