Today we are continuing our intention for the month around the idea of growth with a Solar Plexus Chakra Meditation. While I don’t want to do a total deep dive on the Solar Plexus Chakra, I do want to give some more information on it to help explain why I’m choosing to focus on it for this month of growth.

The Solar Plexus Chakra, or Manipura, is the 3rd chakra in the body and is located in the abdomen above the belly button up to about the point of the breastbone. The Solar Plexus is our source of personal power, self-esteem, confidence, the feeling like we’re in control of our lives, and the power of transformation.

When you’re feeling UN-balanced in your Solar Plexus Chakra, you may feel:

  • Low self-esteem.
  • Lack of self-trust.
  • Poor digestion.
  • Victim mentality.
  • Unable to take responsibility.
  • Not feeling good enough.

I’m sure now you can see how this is such a strong place to focus our intention of growth so we can re-balance the solar plexus chakra and get back to feeling confident, worthy, and trusting of ourselves.

The color associated with the Solar Plexus Chakra is yellow and the element is fire, and you will hear both of these things mentioned in your Solar Plexus Chakra Meditation today.

Monthly intention: Growth

Today’s meditation: Solar Plexus Chakra Affirmation Meditation

Your journal prompt for today is: What area of your life are you needing to tap into this personal power? And when you do, how will you show up and what will that change?
