Today’s meditation is a guided walking meditation for creativity and the perfect time of year for a walking meditation with the Summer of Self-Care and the summer solstice. If you’ve never done a walking meditation before, you’re going to want to take this walk slower than you are used to walking so you can mindfully focus on each step. If you have the ability to take this meditation outside, I highly recommend getting out in nature. As a bonus, if you can safely take off your shoes, even better so you can fully find that connection to Earth.
As we move through this meditation, we’ll focus on each of our senses as we slowly walk and I want you to notice what comes up. I’ve noticed this practice really helps connect back in with our creative nature, which is the underlying intention of today’s practice.

Your journal prompt for today is: What did you notice through this walking meditation? What inspiration made its way to you and through you?
